This was our Mother's Day spread of food on the Saturday. We went to Bar Revolution (my hometown has no independent, centrally located places to eat or drink. There's an article in this, ie it may play huge part in my distaste in soulless corporate chains, and my favour for homely, independently-run establishments instead!).
The food in Bar Revolution is always so wonderful, and again it was - but just so, so, terribly small in size! These were starters, but good job we ordered four plates between us! Seen here - green olives, hoummous with sundried tomatoes and tortilla bread, amazingly delicious rosemary filled focaccia with oil and vinegar, and there was salmon for my mum too.
Meanwhile, my dad babysat the dog !! Rare break for my mum, and rightly so.
